Heirloom Thread - Premium quality appliqué thread. Choose from cotton or silk. Silk thread has long been considered the best for hand appliqué. Less well known is the extremely thin, but strong, cotton thread from YLI, its key advantage being traction which allows it to almost completely disappear into the fabric--no slippage (as with silk).
